To optimize customs processes, the world customs organization has stipulated guidelines that must be adhered to by the respective certified companies and will grant them privileged status as a so-called "Authorized Economic Operator", AEO). This AEO certification allows these companies to process their shipments very quickly through safety inspections and customs and therefore serve their customers quickly and cost-effectively.
