Method Update for photometers required!
Change of important WTW-cuvette test kits!
From October 2006 to January 2007 the seven main test kits for waste water analytics will be changed by needs of production process. To guarantee correct measurement results, the test kits will be handled with a new test model name, new order number and new method data!
Therefore, a method update for photometers is required!
The new method data can be downloaded from this Web site at section Downloads/Software-Update:
- photoLab®: V 26
- pHotoFlex®: Methods V1.15W

The change is beneficial in many respects:
- Enhanced and suitable measurement ranges (see table)
- New caps: A customer query has been performed about new caps with an innovative sealing principle and a new material focussing on handling and high temperature settings up to 170°C. Due to the positive customer feed back and the favorization of the new caps, all coming test kits are equipped with those.
- Easy to read labels and new instruction sheets for comfortable work and order processes.
- For the low range COD Test C3/25, 3 bonus cuvettes to perform blank values are provided in this sensitive measurement range, if an further approval is desired.
When ordering test kits with old order number, automatically the correct substitute will be provided as soon as change will be effective. Please read the notes with all relevant information in the new packages! The method data for old an new test kits are available to use both at the same time.
Old instruments (MPM instruments)
The instruments of MPM series have been produced until 1997 and cannot be updated due to their aged technology. Please contact your customer service for solution and help with these instruments: An exchange of instruments with the current models of photoLab® can be very beneficial due to fully and unique AQA support by the instrument and the improved and enhanced test kits and methods of the last 10 years!
